Jade Dobinson-Evans
This is my third year in LUBDS and first year as pres. As president, I aim to return the society to its pre-covid glory, make our comp squad larger and more competitive, and ensure that our annual showcase goes ahead.
Favourite LUBDS memory?
Performing in my first (and only so far) showcase in early 2020. It's such a fun collaboration of lots of performative societites and im really looking forward to dancing in it again this year!

This is my third year in LUBDS and I'm your team captain this year. I sort out everything competition-related for the society, and I hope to help Lancaster achieve a reputation as a good danced university with successful results at comps!

I've been in LUBDS for 3 years and this is my second year as treasurer. I send out the weekly schedule and take minutes in the meetings, I aim to be punctual with sharing information and answering all your questions.
Favourite LUBDS memory?
The atmosphere at our warwick comp and winning both our latin final and the team match.

Charity and Collaborations Officer

I’ve been with the society for three years, and I am responsible for the society's fundraising activities, and any joint activities with other societies. The biggest part of this is organising our annual charity showcase, a big performance from us and loads of other creative societies at the start of term two.
Favourite LUBDS memory?
The group trip to Edinburgh for the Northern Universities Dance Competition (NUDC).

Hi, I'm Louis and I'm your (better) social sec for this year. I've been in LUBDS for one term now and as a member of the exec I aim to plan and hold memorable, enjoyable socials that all members can come to and have a great time.

Placing at my first comp at Warwick along with the teams overall success.

This is my first year in LUBDS and I'm your (cooler) social secretary. I aim to run good socials and hopefully bring the society closer together.

being at Manchester winter comp and getting second place in the back to back charity waltz.

Health and Safety
Laura Blanchard
This is my second year in LUBDS and my first year as Health and Safety Officer.
It is my job to make sure that everyone is safe in practice, at socials, and at competitions. I want to make sure that people have help when they need it.
Favourite LUBDS memory?
Going back to in-person sessions and socials and being able to compete.

Media and Communications Officer

I've been a member of LUBDS for the last 2 years, starting with the joy that was the online sessions, this year I decided to join the exec as your media and comms officer. It is my job to keep the social media updated and answer messages from the members. My main aims coming into this role were to post more videos on the social media and to ensure that the social media served our members - I hope it's been working for you so far!
Favourite LUBDS memory?
Our first competition in Blackpool, it was amazing to dance in the ballroom I'd dreamed of all my life.
